A spare charger is the cheapest way to stop planning your rides around one power outlet. Keep this one at the office or at a second home and your Kimdyma pack is always topped up when you want to leave.
This is the same 48V 4A unit supplied with the bike. It outputs 54.6V DC — the correct full-charge voltage for a 13S lithium-ion pack — and delivers 4A, so a 720Wh battery goes from empty to full in roughly six hours. The indicator light turns red while charging and green once the pack is full, so you can leave it plugged in and check it at a glance.
Before you order: 48V e-bike chargers come in two output voltages, 54.6V and 58.8V, and they are not interchangeable. Check the label on your existing charger, or the specification sheet for your battery, and confirm it reads 54.6V. If you are unsure, message us with your bike model and we will confirm it for you.
Charging safely: plug the charger into the battery first, then into the wall; when charging is finished, unplug it from the wall before the battery. Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface with air around the unit, never in a damp space, and never leave a charging battery unattended overnight in a hallway or stairwell. Do not use a charger with a damaged cable — replace it.
