Before you buy

Height decides the frame before anything else. The K02 covers 158–178 cm, the K01 178–190 cm, the K03 190–200 cm. At 178 and at 190 two frames are both right and we name both rather than picking for you.

The frame and the rider it was drawn around. They share the motor, the 960 Wh pack, the range figure and the price — so the honest answer is not a spec, it is a height and a step-through.

Every row, three wide

All three ship with one. The factory builds no throttle-free configuration, so a bike without one cannot be supplied. If that is a problem where you ride, say so before you order rather than after it arrives.

All three are supplied set for EU road use — 250 W continuous, assistance to 25 km/h. How a throttle and a national classification interact differs by member state, so we answer that per country, in writing, rather than printing a badge on a page.

While you wait

Tracking goes out the moment the bike leaves the workshop, to the address on the order. If nothing has arrived and the order says dispatched, the tracking email is the first thing to look for and we are the second.

Track an order

We do. If a bike arrives damaged, defective, or not matching the listed spec, we pay the return shipping. Photograph the packaging before you unpack any further — that is the evidence that settles it in one reply.

Bike, manual, toolkit, battery, charger, front light, display, fenders, rear rack, reflectors, bell, cable binder, kickstand and suspension. The bike arrives most of the way built; the bar, the front wheel and the pedals are the rider's part.

The manual for your bike

They are not a Kimdyma accessory and they are not sold separately. They travel with the accessory shipment because customers asked for them, and no part of the purchase price covers them — so a refund claim based on the fenders is not one we accept. We would rather say that here than in an email later.

Once you ride

About 55 km on the K01 and the K02, 35–45 km on the K03, about 80 km on the M1 and about 45 km on the K05. Those are guide figures on a full charge — cold, hills, wind, load and higher assist take kilometres off, so plan a regular route with a margin.

How we measure

Because a colour screen glares on a night ride, and we tested it. The K01 and the K02 therefore carry a monochrome unit on the bar. The K03's colour unit sits in the frame, out of the sightline, which is why it can be colour.

Near half charge, indoors, off the bike. It comes off with the key. Charge it indoors and never below freezing, and never charge a pack that is wet.

The charge window, on a scale

Yes, and that is deliberate: standard fasteners and catalogue parts. The two things that are ours are the pack and the torque sensor, and the sensor fits both the K01 and the K02.

The care guide

When something is wrong

Almost always the weather and the tyres, in that order. Note the temperature, set the pressure to the sidewall range, ride the same route and compare. If it is still down after that, send us those two numbers.

Triage, in full

Read us the code AND which display you have — the K01 and K02 run a KT-LCD10H, the K03 a KT-INS01, and the same number means different things on the two. The manual in your box is the generic factory one and its defaults are not ours.

What the factory manual gets wrong

Frame, 24 months from delivery. Motor and battery, 12 months each. The controller is not covered, and nor is anything outside the motor and the battery. Extended cover adds 12 months of battery cover, is sold a year at a time, and has to be bought within 30 days of delivery.

Register or claim

Stop riding it. Intermittent power, a burning smell or a pack that will not seat is not a driveway job, and opening the controller ends the conversation about who pays. Photograph it, note the frame number, write to us.

Not by the Kimdyma warranty. It covers bikes bought on kimdyma.com, and we cannot register or repair under warranty a bike we did not sell.

Bikes on marketplaces and in social-media shops are not sold by us. Some are other bikes using our name; some are ours, resold by shops that open and close. Either way, the seller you paid is the one responsible for it — in the EU that includes the legal guarantee, so the claim goes to them.
