Downloads & operation

Pick the bike. Then the file.

Fourteen links under four headings is a filing job handed to the reader. There is one question — which bike is yours — and everything on this page answers to it: the manual, the display guide, the torque sheet, the conformity declaration.

Everything for one bike, in one place

The frame number is under the down tube. If the sticker has gone, the display tells you which bike you have: a monochrome bar display is a K01 or a K02, and a colour screen set into the frame is a K03.

One of the manuals in your box is not ours

It is the right book for what the buttons do, how the menus are laid out and what the symbols mean. It is the wrong book for any number.

The KT-LCD10H manual supplied with the K01 and the K02 is the generic factory version — KT_LCD10H_V3.1, dated 14 August 2023. It documents the display unit, not this bike, and every default value printed in it was set by KT at the factory, not by Kimdyma.
In the factory manual On your bike Why
Wheel size — Set at assembly, per model. Changing it changes every speed and distance the display shows.
Speed limit 25 km/h The bike is supplied set for EU road use, 250 W continuous.
Battery voltage 48 V The manual covers a family of packs; yours is one of them.
PAS levels 5 Turbo, tour, eco and sport.
Password / P-settings — Do not change these. They are set at assembly and a wrong value is not covered.

Where the two disagree, the figure on this site and on your bike's spec sheet is the one that applies. A dashed value is one the assembly sheet sets and we have not published yet.

The K03's KT-INS01 is a different unit with a different manual and different codes. Nothing on this table applies to it.
Operation

The five minutes that are worth reading

Everything here is the same on all three bikes unless it says otherwise.

Two displays, and the mono one is a decisionThe K01 and the K02 carry a monochrome KT-LCD10H on the bar. The K03 carries a colour KT-INS01 set into the frame. Mono is not a saving: a colour screen glares on a night ride, and we tested it. The K03's colour unit is out of the sightline because it is in the frame rather than on the bar.
Five levels, four modes, one ceilingFive PAS levels choose how much help; turbo, tour, eco and sport choose how it is delivered. Assist stops at 25 km/h on all three because that is how they are supplied for EU road use — the bike does not stop, the motor does. All three ship with a throttle; the factory builds no version without one.
One charger for the range48 V, 4 A, 54.6 V output, EU plug — the same unit on all three bikes, so a spare is a spare. Six to eight hours from empty. The pack comes off with the key and should spend a cold winter indoors. Never charge a pack that is wet or below freezing.
The first 100 kmNew bolts settle. Check the torque values after the first hundred kilometres — the ones that settle are the ones carrying the motor — and set tyre pressure to the range moulded into the sidewall rather than to a number you remember.
Error codes

What the display is telling you

Codes are per display unit, not per bike model — a KT-LCD10H code means nothing on a KT-INS01. Read us the code and the unit and we can answer in one reply.

Code Unit What it means What to try Whose job
— KT-LCD10H Rider
— KT-LCD10H Workshop
— KT-INS01 Rider
— KT-INS01 Us
Nothing on this table sends you inside the controller. It is not covered by the warranty on any of the three bikes, and opening it ends the conversation about who pays. A code that is not a rider job is a code you photograph and send to us.

Every row here is a placeholder until the factory code list is in. The shape of this table is the deliverable; a guessed error code on a published page is worse than no page.
