FAQ
Everything, before you ask
From installation and maintenance to repair, parts and delivery — the questions riders ask most, gathered in one place. Browse by category on the left, or search a keyword.
Do I need to assemble the bike myself?
Your bike ships around 90% pre-assembled. You only need to fit the front wheel, straighten the handlebar, attach the pedals and set the saddle height — usually under 15 minutes. The tools and an illustrated guide are included in the box.
Before your first ride, always run a quick check on the quick-releases and brakes to make sure everything is torqued correctly.
How do I set the correct saddle height and riding position?
Stand over the frame with both feet flat on the ground — aim for roughly two fingers of clearance between you and the saddle as a starting point, then fine-tune to your leg length and comfort.
At the bottom of the pedal stroke your knee should stay slightly bent, never fully locked. Each model's product page lists a recommended range by rider height.
Should I fully charge the battery before first use?
We recommend a full charge before your first ride, then letting it rest briefly so the battery management system (BMS) can calibrate.
After that, there's no need to charge to 100% every time — keeping the charge between 20% and 80% is better for long-term battery health.
How often does the bike need servicing?
Run a full torque check (brakes, handlebar, quick-releases, bolts) after the first 200 km. After that, inspect the chain, tyre pressure and brake pad thickness every 500 km or once a quarter.
Shorten the interval if you commute daily or ride often in wet conditions.
How do I clean and lubricate the chain?
Wipe off dirt and old lube with a dry cloth, then apply a dedicated chain oil drop by drop to each link. Back-pedal a few turns so it works in, and wipe away the excess so it doesn't attract grit.
Re-apply after riding in the rain to prevent rust.
How should I store the battery over winter or long breaks?
Charge the battery to around 60%, then remove it and store it somewhere dry, out of direct sunlight, at roughly 10–20°C, away from heat and damp.
During long storage, top it up every 1–2 months to avoid deep discharge that can damage the cells.
What should I do if the brakes feel soft or make noise?
Soft brakes usually mean worn pads or air in the hydraulic line; noise often comes from oil on the pad surface or aged pads. Start by checking whether the pads have worn thin.
Bleeding and replacing hydraulic disc brakes is best left to a professional. You can also contact us to arrange a nearby partner workshop or a home service visit.
How do I troubleshoot the motor if it stops working?
Check these in order: battery charge, whether the power switch is on, whether the assist level is set to 0, and whether any wiring connector is loose or has taken on water.
If there's still no response, note the error code shown on the display and contact our technical support so we can pinpoint the issue quickly.
What does the warranty cover?
The frame, motor and battery are each covered under the warranty terms listed on their product pages, for material and workmanship defects that aren't caused by misuse.
Normal wear on consumables (tyres, brake pads, chain), plus damage from accidents, unauthorised modifications or improper use, falls outside the warranty.
How do I confirm a part is compatible with my model?
Select your model on the parts page and the system automatically filters to the parts that fit it.
If you're still unsure, send us your bike's serial number (on the underside of the frame or inside the battery bay) and we'll check compatibility for you.
Where can I find the tyre and tube specifications?
The size is printed on the tyre sidewall (for example 27.5×2.4), and you'll also find the full specs in the product page spec table and the owner's manual.
Matching the same size lets you swap directly; if you want to change size, check clearance with the frame and mudguards with us first.
Can I buy a genuine replacement battery separately?
Yes. Genuine batteries are sold by model on the parts page and include the matching BMS and charger, so they communicate safely with your bike's original electronics.
For your safety, please don't use non-genuine or unbranded batteries and chargers.
How long do dispatch and delivery take?
Orders usually leave the warehouse within 1–2 business days, and delivery within the EU typically takes 3–7 business days. The estimate shown at checkout is the final source of truth.
Once it ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow it the whole way.
How is a complete bike with battery shipped safely and legally?
The battery ships with the bike in packaging that meets UN38.3 and local dangerous-goods transport rules, carried by a designated courier.
You don't need to file any declaration or paperwork yourself — it's ready to use on arrival.
What should I do if the box arrives damaged?
Photograph the damage on the spot, note it on the delivery slip, and then contact us within 24 hours.
We'll arrange a replacement or exchange based on that — transit damage like this doesn't affect your bike's warranty.
