26” × 4.0” fat tyres give grip and float on sand, snow, gravel and road. They run on spoked aluminium wheels and are driven by a single 750 W rear hub motor. The only other fat-tyre bike in the range has two motors. Rated power, torque and top assist speed are in the specifications below.

The K05 FIRN weighs 30 kg and rides on 26” × 4.0” fat tyres, about 13 kg lighter than the K03 RANGER, the only other fat-tyre bike in the range. That is less to lift, load and handle when the ground turns to sand, snow or gravel.

A single 750 W rear hub motor with 60 N·m of torque, the strongest single motor in the range. That torque is what pulls the bike up a climb, on a maximum gradient of 30°. The K01, K02 and M1 use 500 W motors; the K03 reaches 1500 W only by using two motors. It is paired with 26” × 4.0” fat tyres for grip on sand, snow and gravel.

HandlebarsStack is the vertical distance from the bottom bracket to the top of the head tube, and it sets how high the front end sits. Riding modes
Five assist levels, throttle, or pedal only
Pedal assist has five levels, chosen on the colour display, and the motor helps as soon as the pedals turn. The throttle is pure electric with no pedalling. With the motor off, the K05 FIRN rides like a normal bike and uses no battery. The lowest level gives the longest range.
0 kmPAS 2Still pedal assist, one step above the lowest level. The speed sensor starts the motor as soon as the pedals turn, so you keep pedalling and the motor takes more of the load than at PAS 1. Choose the level on the display and move up when the trail steepens.
70–80kmThrottle100% electric, no pedalling. The motor drives the bike on its own, so it uses the battery faster than pedal assist. Range on the throttle alone is not published yet. It is meant for private land and off-road. On EU public roads, ride in pedal-assist mode.
100kmPedal onlyMotor off, display at level 0. The bike rides like a normal bike, with no battery used. Choose it for exercise, or to save the battery for later in the ride.

Local law decides what is allowed where you ride, so check the rules for your country. Tampering with the speed limiter is not permitted for road use.

The K05 FIRN comes with a 48 V 4 A charger, 54.6 V output, EU plug. Use only that charger or an official replacement. The battery lifts out, so you can charge it indoors in a dry place, and unplug it once it is full.
