HandlebarsStack is the vertical distance from the bottom bracket to the top of the head tube, and it sets how high the front end sits. A taller stack puts you more upright, a shorter one leans you forward. The M1 ARETE has a stack of 915 mm and a handlebar height of 1110 mm. It comes in one frame size, for riders 165–193 cm.

Three ways to ride
Assist, throttle or pedal only
Pedal assist has five levels, picked on the display. The throttle runs the motor with no pedalling. With the motor off, it rides like a normal bike and saves the battery.
0 kmPAS 2The second step up from the lowest level. The motor helps as soon as the pedals turn, with a little more assist than level 1 and a little more battery used. Pick the level on the display.
70–80kmThrottle100% electric, no pedalling. The motor drives the bike on its own, which is why it is meant for private land and off-road. On EU public roads, ride in pedal-assist mode instead.
100kmPAS 1The lowest pedal-assist level, chosen on the display. The motor helps as soon as the pedals turn, so you keep most of the effort and the battery lasts longest.
The throttle is for private land and off-road use. On EU public roads, ride in pedal-assist mode. Most EU countries treat an e-bike as a bicycle only up to 25 km/h of assisted speed, so check your national rules. Tampering with the speed limiter is illegal for road use in the EU and voids the warranty.
The charge clock
Plug it in, and it is ready by morning
Slide to the hour you plug in and the ring shows when the battery is full. It simply adds the charge time to your start time, so you can see whether the bike is ready for the next ride.

The charger is the standard Kimdyma 48V 4A unit, the same one the other models use. Charge somewhere dry where you can keep an eye on it, and unplug once the battery is full.
