Anything marked fitted arrives on the bike and is not sold separately — it is part of what is shipped, not an accessory and not a gift. Everything with a count is boxed loose.

Range figures are measured in eco mode on flat ground at 20 °C with a 75 kg rider and will differ in use.

In three

What makes the K01 this bike

Three things that define this model, each ending on a measurement from the specification table below — not an adjective.

A cyclist riding a Kimdyma all-terrain electric mountain bike at high speed on a forest gravel trail, with motion blur a 500 W rated output

500 W motor, 38 km/h assist

Rated power is the continuous output the motor can hold without overheating — the figure that matters on a long climb. Peak power is higher but cannot be sustained. Top assist speed is the point at which the motor stops adding power; you can pedal faster, but without assistance.

Torque sensor

Reads how hard you push and scales assist to match — so the motor responds to effort, not just cadence. The difference shows on climbs and in traffic.

The parts that define this model

Torque sensor, Samsung battery, Shimano drivetrain — the components that make the K01 a trail bike. Press any part to see it full-size.

Torque sensor

Fitted in the bottom bracket, the torque sensor measures pedal force and adjusts motor output in real time. The motor scales assist to match how hard you push — not just how fast you spin.

Removed and fitted with a splined bottom bracket tool.

Samsung 960 Wh battery

48V 20Ah Samsung lithium battery, removable with key lock. The same battery fits all three models in the range — K01, K02 and K03 share the charge port and mounting rail.

Range is measured in eco mode on flat ground at 20 °C with a 75 kg rider and will differ in use. Charge time is 6–8 hours from empty.

Shimano drivetrain

The K01 runs a 9-speed Shimano drivetrain: TX30 and TZ500 derailleurs, SL-M3000 RapidFire shift lever, and a 42T steel chainring with bash guard. The chain is a KMC C9 heavy-duty model rated for e-bike torque.

Cassette is a Shimano-compatible freewheel, 14–28T.

Tire grip

Wide 2.8-inch tread on 27.5-inch double-wall alloy rims. The width spreads load over loose ground; the tread pattern is cut for off-road grip and gravel traction.

Tire pressure affects ride feel and rolling resistance — check the sidewall for the range this tire can take.

RST TNL 691-15 hydraulic fork

The RST TNL 691-15 is a hydraulic suspension fork with 150 mm of travel. Lockout is controlled by the lever on the crown; rebound damping is adjusted by the knob at the bottom of the right leg.

Preload is also adjustable — turn the collar at the top of the left leg to increase or decrease spring tension.

Where it is meant to go

Three surfaces, and one it is not for

A bike that claims every surface is a bike that has been described by its marketing rather than ridden.

Gravel roads and forest trails27.5" × 2.8" tyres and 150 mm suspension travel. Wide enough for loose surfaces, not so wide the bike becomes slow on packed ground.

Sustained climbs up to 30°The 500 W rated motor output is continuous power — the figure that holds on a long climb without thermal cutoff. Maximum gradient is measured at 75 kg rider weight on dry pavement.

Broken pavement and rutted tracks150 mm front suspension travel and 27.5" × 2.8" tyres. The suspension absorbs impact from broken surfaces; tyre width provides grip without the drag of a fat tyre on hard ground.

Not for snow or sand. The K03 Ranger carries 26 × 4.0 fat tires for that.

How you sit on it

Stack decides which frame fits your height

Stack is how high the bars sit above the bottom bracket. It is the difference you feel before you turn a pedal. Drag your height to see which frame answers.

840 High-thru
710 Step-through
910 Fat-tyre

BarsStack is the vertical distance from the bottom bracket to the top of the head tube — it sets how high the bars sit relative to your feet. A taller stack means a more upright position; a shorter stack puts you forward. The K01's stack is 840 mm, which places the bars at 1110 mm above the ground when the stem is fitted. This figure comes from the geometry table and defines the 178–190 cm rider band.
What it will carry

Rated to the total, not to the luggage

It counts everything: you, what you are wearing, what is on the rack, and the bike itself before any of it.

of the rated total, with the bike's own weight already counted

Four assist modes

What each mode does

Eco stretches the battery; Turbo climbs faster but drains it. Each step up trades range for power — the choice is how much of the pack a hill costs you.

100kmEcoLowest power draw, longest range. The motor adds just enough to flatten the road — you are still doing most of the work.
70kmTourBalanced power and range. The motor does half the work — enough to hold speed on gentle climbs without draining the pack on flat ground.
60kmSport60% assist — motor matches your effort more closely. Responsive on variable terrain but uses the battery faster than Tour.
35kmTurboMaximum power output — 100% assist. The motor delivers its full rated capacity to match your pedaling effort. Climbs are fastest here, but range drops sharply. This is the mode that costs you the most battery per kilometer.

Top assist speed is 25 km/h in most EU markets. The motor stops adding power at that point; you can pedal faster, but without assistance. Tampering with the speed limiter is illegal for road use in the EU and voids the warranty.
